SHIPBUILDERS
In 2021, Cielo Vista Church launched a community outreach ministry named ShipBuilders
with an intentionality of navigating and sharing the Gospel of Christ
to the lives of those in our elementary and middle schools.
The primary objective of ShipBuilders was to build ships, that is, relationships within our local community. To achieve this, we formed a partnership with the Ysleta Independent School District.
Currently, ShipBuilders is actively collaborating with five schools within the district: REL Washington, Glen Cove, Edgemere, Pebble Hills Elementary, and Hanks Middle. Through these connections, we have begun various after school programs and bible studies, which have opened doors for our church to show the Love of Christ to children and families in our neighborhood.

to be allowed into a school, the district requires you to obtain a school badge. You will need an I.D. such as a driver's license.
CVC background check
Once completed, a link will be sent to you, the volunteer, to take the “Protect My Ministry” class.

The Scholarship Program
CVC awards 5 eligible senior graduates from our Student Ministry to pursue a higher education.
This is a direct result of the third value of our church, Life Changing Generosity and aligns with our church Mission Statement for Generational Life Change.
